Skee-town

In October, we went to Seattle for a week to celebrate Josh's birthday & to see the OSU-UW game. We spent quality time with Josh's family & were thrilled to hangout with our nephew Asher. Check out the sweet ride Josh picked out.
We stayed downtown for our first few nights. On our 1st day we met up with Summer & Kari. Summer treated us to a yummy lunch at Purple & then we walked around Pikes market. Later we met up with Simon whose office is in the Columbia tower & he was able to get us up to the top floor lookout. There's a Starbucks up there. Here I am with a couple of Josh's sisters, Summer, me, Kari.
I zoomed in to get a pix of Seattle University. Can you spot my dorm?
At the end of the day we picked up Asher from Daycare & finally met his girlfriend Matilda. We loved his teachers & felt like they knew us from Asher's family photo book. It was a loving place.
The next morning Kari stopped by out hotel to wish Josh a happy birthday & brought him some coffee & Top Pot doughnuts. Unfortunately, he was on the phone for the rest of the morning doing work.
For lunch we went to Josh's favorite, Schlotzskys sausages up on the Ave. It was sinful.
We stopped at the Arboretum & went for a walk to enjoy the fall leaves. It was pretty!
For Josh's birthday we met up with the family, the Coulseys & Proudys at Steelhead Diner near Pikes. Traditionally on Josh's birthday I wake up & make bacon for breakfast, but since we didn't eat breakfast or have a kitchen I secretly ordered bacon at the restaurant. Too bad I couldn't stick candles in it.
We headed to The Owl & Thistle after dinner & met up with some of my friends who worked we me at UW. Judy, Cora, Me
