Happy very unbirthday to me!!
My wonderful family surprised me with a un-birthday dinner celebration at Alan Wong's this past weekend. I share my birthday with my niece Marley so we are usually busy with her parties & don't get to go out to eat. My dad lured me in & said he had a gift certificate to use. Dinner was amazing! I highly recommend "da bag" as an appetizer, clams & kalua pig. YUM! My sister got me a lei & the pancake puff pan as a gift, which was so nice of her because she got me a really nice bday gift. I was so excited! Marc has me hooked on pancake puffs. "Pancake puffs add pizzazz to every meal with these savory puffs!" HA! Seriously everyone needs a pancake puff pan...Liz have you bought one yet? Hee hee watch the info commercial & you'll want one. Cracks me up!

Wait till you get to Japan. They have little booths of yummy goodness that's similar to the pancake puff.
Funny that you just did your birthday dinner, because your present from me is waiting here for your visit! I'm HORRIBLE about mailing things, bad Kari! Anyway, We can celebrate you along with that brother of mine! Can't wait to see you guys!
